Catherine and François welcome you to Au Jardin d'Éden, our bright and spacious house nestled in the beautiful Médoc region, between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean.
We offer 3 lovely bedrooms, one of which opens onto a private 17 m² terrace with a view of the forest, ideal for recharging your batteries. You can enjoy our semi-covered pool, heated from April, as well as our wellness area with a sauna and a massage space.
Catherine, a qualified massage therapist, offers treatments on booking. François shares his wine expertise with tastings of wines and regional specialities from the Médoc.
On booking, you can try our table d'hôtes, showcasing regional dishes. Bikes are available so you can make the most of the many cycle paths. A generous breakfast is included, a hit with all our guests!
What you'll love about the area
Our house is in Grayan-et-l'Hôpital, right in the heart of the Médoc, ideally located between the Gironde estuary (8 km) and the Atlantic Ocean (5 km).
You'll discover the wild landscapes of the Médoc marshes and unspoilt dune beaches. 8 km away is Soulac-sur-Mer, with its Belle Époque villas, its Basilique Notre-Dame-de-la-Fin-des-Terres and its fine sandy beach. For wine lovers, you're in the land of the greatest vintages: Château Margaux, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe, Saint-Julien and Médoc AOC.
Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the 9-hole golf practice course in the village and surfing on our beaches. Also worth discovering: the Pointe de Grave and its lighthouse, Le Verdon-sur-Mer, and the cycle paths that criss-cross the whole peninsula.
For food, don't miss the oysters from the Arcachon basin, entrecôte bordelaise, canelés, Bordeaux wines and regional specialities. A perfect location for combining wine, nature and the ocean.
