Ideally located near the iconic Pénitents des Mées, a spectacular rock formation listed as a Site Naturel National, my room offers you the perfect stopover to discover Haute-Provence in all its authenticity, among lavender, olive groves and hilltop villages.

My room is located in Les Mées, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, famous for its spectacular Pénitents des Mées, a rock formation over 100 m high listed as a Site Naturel National, nicknamed « les moines pétrifiés » (the petrified monks).
You are in the heart of Haute-Provence with its iconic landscapes: fields of lavender as far as the eye can see, olive groves, hilltop villages, and the Plateau de Valensole close by. To discover in the surrounding area: Forcalquier and its famous Monday Provençal market, Manosque (the town of Jean Giono), the Gorges du Verdon with their Lac de Sainte-Croix, the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon, the Plateau de Valensole and its lavender fields in bloom in July, and hilltop villages such as Lurs and Mane.
On the food front, don't miss the AOP olive oil from Haute-Provence, lavender honey, Banon goat's cheeses and wines from the Pays d'Aix. A perfect location for combining nature, heritage and the Provençal art of living.
