I welcome you to Chalet Perchoir, my 80 m² chalet located at the entrance to the resort of Orcières-Merlette, just 300 m from the sports complex. You enjoy an exceptional south-facing panoramic view over the valley, and a balcony opening onto a 400 m² plot. The chalet can sleep up to 8 people in 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 2 mountain nooks (1 additional double bed and 1 bunk bed). You will find a bathroom with a walk-in shower and 2 washbasins, a separate washroom, and 2 separate toilets. The kitchen is fully equipped: oven, microwave, 4-burner gas hob, dishwasher, filter coffee maker + Senseo, kettle, toaster, raclette/grill/stone-grill set, fondue set, electric barbecue. Dining room and living room with a bench seat, television, playing cards. Baby amenities provided (bath, chair booster seat). Ski cupboard.
What you'll love about the area
My chalet is ideally located in Orcières-Merlette, a village resort in the Hautes-Alpes nestled at an altitude of 1850 m in the heart of the Champsaur. In winter, you enjoy a ski area with 100 km of slopes, ranging from 1850 to 2725 m, perfect for skiers of all levels. The resort also offers activities beyond skiing: rail toboggan, ski-joëring, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, an ice rink and bowling. 300 m away, the Orcia sports complex brings together an indoor swimming pool, a climbing wall, a spa and indoor activities. In summer, the area becomes a paradise for hiking, mountain biking (bike park), climbing, fishing, paragliding and swimming in the lake and open-water areas. The Parc National des Écrins is close by for lovers of unspoilt nature. Gap, the Lac de Serre-Ponçon and the Plateau d'Emparis can be reached by car for day trips. A perfect location for combining winter sports, summer nature and wide open Alpine spaces.
