This Mazet, a 5-minute walk from the historic centre with all its shops, is in a quiet, traffic-free area where you can forget your car and enjoy healthy strolls, along with the renowned Provençal market that sets the rhythm of stays in the South during the season. "Close to everything and far from nothing"! L'Oustau dei Aucèus is ideally located at the centre of three départements (Gard, Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhône), making it easy to explore the whole of Provence, with the Massif des Alpilles, the Lubéron, the Montagne Sainte-Victoire and Mont Ventoux offering spectacular hikes. Les Baux-de-Provence and its Carrières des Lumières, Avignon and the Palais des Papes, and Arles with its UNESCO-listed Roman heritage are all less than an hour away, as is the Camargue with its wild landscapes and pink flamingos & the Mediterranean at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.
