What you'll love about this property
FIRGUN-OMOTENASHI guest house in Givry, in the heart of the vineyards.
I welcome you to an unusual house from 1850, full of charm, where the Japanese art of hospitality, "omotenashi", takes on its full meaning. You will be pampered with sincere and personal attention.
Two comfortable, pretty bedrooms upstairs.

In winter, the large room with its wood-burning stove invites you to unwind.
The library welcomes you for a break with a book or the television.
Breakfasts are prepared with cheese, homemade jams and quality bread. Loose-leaf teas, tea and coffee as much as you like. I'm happy to discuss what goes into your breakfast.
You will come across two cuddly cats: Senbei (the name of a Japanese rice cracker) and Aria (an air in classical music).
If you would like to stay just one night to break up a long journey, that's absolutely fine. You will be welcomed
with the same joy.

Givry is a charming wine village nestled between vineyards and forests in an unspoilt Burgundy setting. The winemakers' cellars open their doors to you for a tasting of some of Burgundy's most highly regarded wines.
The cycle path runs just 50 metres from the house.
The greenway leads to Chalon, 9km away, and to Cluny, 40km away.
The nearby forest also offers lovely walks starting from the house.
Beaune and its famous Hospices are 27 km away for a day of wine and culture.
Dijon, capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, with its palace and medieval streets, is 80 km away.
Cluny and its thousand-year-old abbey round off the heritage outings.
The Burgundy wine route, the gastronomy and the colourful markets set the rhythm of a stay combining heritage and the pleasures of local produce.
