Between garrigue, sea and mountains, nestled in the heart of the Cèze valley in the Gard, the Mas de Cyjelac is a 17th-century guest house full of character. More than just a stay, this mas offers you a true escape through its charming B&B rooms decorated in colours from far-off places.
4 bedrooms that can sleep up to 15 people, each with its own bathroom and private shower. Air conditioning, wifi, bed linen, towels, bathroom amenities and hairdryer provided.
The swimming pool invites you to relax. The grounds offer many quiet spots among the hundred-year-old mulberry trees, whose leaves were once used to feed silkworms, the shaded arbour of the black lounge, the hammock under the trees and the pétanque court. Barbecue available.

What you'll love about the area
The Mas de Cyjelac is a natural haven located between the garrigue and the Gard Cévennes. The Cèze offers swimming in crystal-clear water at unspoilt natural sites such as the Sautadet waterfalls and their spectacular potholes carved into the limestone rock.
One village full of character follows another nearby: La Roque-sur-Cèze, listed among the Plus Beaux Villages de France, Goudargues, nicknamed the Venice of the Gard, Barjac, Uzès and its duchy, the UNESCO-listed Pont du Gard and Nîmes with its Arènes are all easily accessible.
The Cévennes offer hiking, canoeing and kayaking, and outdoor activities in an unspoilt setting. The Mediterranean and its beaches are less than an hour away. Provence gardoise reveals its markets, its Côtes du Rhône vineyards and its southern cuisine.
Between heritage, river, garrigue and sea, the region offers a complete and varied stay. Provençal markets, wine cellars and local restaurants to savour the flavours of the Gard and Provence.
