What you'll love about this property
Les Goélands B&B in Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, Côte d'Émeraude, Brittany. A warm and welcoming guesthouse just 700m from a fine sandy beach and the GR34 coastal path.
Two large independent rooms that can be booked separately: each room has its own private WC and bathroom, plus a television. Complete privacy while enjoying a warm welcome from Jean-Jacques and Colette. An extra bed is available at an additional charge, and a baby travel cot is provided.
Shared amenities available: a microwave and fridge in the communal areas to store and heat up your meals or beach picnics. Handy if you like to be self-sufficient.

What you'll love about the area
Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, the gem of the Côte d'Émeraude: a family seaside resort in the Côtes-d'Armor with 11 fine sandy beaches. The beach is 700m from the B&B for a daily swim. The GR34 customs officers' path starts right here, for walks with exceptional views of the Breton coast.
Sports activities close by: an 18-hole golf course 1200m away overlooking the ocean (3 min by car) for keen golfers, two equestrian centres 500m away for horse rides, a sailing club 500m away with paddleboard, windsurf, canoe, sea kayak and catamaran hire. Tennis club 5 min away (2 indoor courts, 4 clay courts).
Côte d'Émeraude heritage: Saint-Malo, the corsair city, 20 min away with its ramparts, aquarium and Fort National. Medieval Dinan 25 min away with its cobbled lanes, half-timbered houses and port on the Rance. Cap Fréhel's spectacular cliffs 20 min away, and Fort La Latte, a medieval castle by the sea.
Breton food: crêperies with buckwheat galettes, seafood platters, kouign-amann, farmhouse cider. Local producers' markets.
