What you'll love about this property
The view, first of all. On the 15th floor, the south-facing balcony opens onto the alpine pastures and Mont Corbier with nothing overlooking it: this panorama is yours at any time of day — from your morning coffee to your evening aperitif. Then, the freedom of not needing a car. Le Corbier is a pedestrian resort. The Voie Lactée chairlift leaves from the foot of the residence: in winter, you put your skis on at the door and have direct access to Les Sybelles, one of the largest ski areas in France with 300 km of slopes. In summer, the hiking trails and mountain bike trails start at the same altitude, with no need to go down to the valley. For 5 people, the flat is well thought out: 28 m² renovated, bath, plenty of amenities, storage suited to mountain gear... Everything you need to make life easier and help you make the most of your stay. You deal directly with me for information about the ski area, the flat, accessibility and good tips.
What you'll love about the area
The Maurienne stretches out below the resort — an authentic alpine valley, with its villages, its history, its culture, its markets and its local producers. Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, the valley town, is directly accessible from the A43 and from its TGV station (Le Corbier is 15km away). Find the resort's shops while it is open. Make the most of having them within walking distance for your good times and activities: tourist office, restaurants, mini-markets, shuttle stops, pharmacy, medical centre, cinema.... In summer, spring and autumn, the hiking routes stretch from the family-friendly high-altitude lake up to the ridges. The Sybelles ski area turns into a playground for mountain biking, trail running and paragliding. In winter, enjoy the five resorts of the ski area to vary your days. Le Corbier, thanks to its central position, lets you make the most of it.
