La Kouka, a charming air-conditioned semi-detached house with a garden, in a quiet setting, 200m from the Port de Plaisance, in the Aiguillon district. - Ground floor: 1 open-plan kitchen, 1 cosy living room, 1 shower room, 1 WC - Upstairs: 2 proper, spacious bedrooms with wardrobes (1 160 cm bed and 2 80cm beds) - Outside: Garden with shaded terrace, Lounge furniture, Hammock, barbecue and shed. Four bikes are available for you to explore the Bassin (no more parking worries), and there is possible space for your car in the garden. To make the most of your holiday - The beds are made when you arrive. - Linen and toiletries are provided (except beach towels) - Basic essentials are provided, as well as a few groceries so you can settle in with complete peace of mind. - Ideal for 4 people, children aged 8 and over because of the stairs. Please be considerate of the neighbours: no noise after 22h00, no parties.
What you'll love about the area
Located 200 m from the Port de Plaisance, the beaches, the shops and the many restaurants. Everything can be reached on foot or by bike, all in a quiet neighbourhood for a pleasant stay. Discover Arcachon off the beaten track: the many cycle paths and little lanes lead to peaceful spots. The digital guidebook suggests walks and outings. A must-see, the Dune du Pilat, the highest dune in Europe, offers a spectacular view over the Banc d'Arguin and the Bassin. The Ville d'Hiver and its 19th-century Villas are right on your doorstep. Not forgetting Cap Ferret, the Ile aux oiseaux and the Cabanes Tchanquées, to be explored by boat. Gujan-Mestras and its 7 oyster ports, and the Parc ornithologique du Teich round off this non-exhaustive list. For lovers of local produce, the Bassin's terroir offers a wide choice (Oysters, Canelés, Wines...) I will welcome you on the day you arrive to have a chat and answer your questions.
