Welcome to Chalet de Pierre Sèche, my lovely little chalet right next to the forest with a view of the mountains, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan. This detached, south-facing chalet sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms (2 double beds, 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed), with a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside, everything has been thought out for your comfort: a shed with chairs and sun loungers, including for children, charcoal, kindling and firelighters available for your barbecues, a shelter for your bikes, and a lockable shed to store your belongings safely. For leisure, you'll find a table football game, swings and a slide for the children, as well as a dartboard. Wi-Fi works without any problem. Pets welcome. I live on the same property and I'm at your disposal to guide you throughout your stay. A true haven of peace in the heart of nature!
What you'll love about the area
Lovely little chalet in the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan. Nestled in lush greenery, come here to rest, unwind or enjoy outdoor activities: fishing, mountain biking, hiking and horse riding, quad biking, water sports... and the magnificent landscapes, lakes and rivers. Lac de Pannecière is 1 km away (a shortcut saves you time) and Lac des Settons is a few kilometres away. Many waymarked hiking trails criss-cross the surrounding area. 6 km away: bar, restaurant, electric bike and mountain bike hire, paddleboarding, kayaking. The village of Ouroux-en-Morvan (bakery, restaurants, grocery shop) is 9 km away. 15 km away is Château-Chinon, an iconic town dear to François Mitterrand, with all amenities (hospital, pharmacies, shops). For museums and heritage: Alligny-en-Morvan, Bibracte, le Septennat, Saulieu and Vézelay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, all less than 1 hour away. A perfect location to combine nature, sport and discovery.
