Michèle and I welcome you to Entre Brionnais et Bourbonnais, our B&B with a private bathroom, in our lovely country house in the heart of the Auvergne. Our 15 m² room offers you comfort, peace and privacy.
The big highlight of our place: a private jacuzzi included, with free access all year round, so you can unwind after your days out sightseeing. Bathrobes, bath towels and slippers are provided at no extra charge. You also have a hospitality tray, a TV with a DVD player and a film collection, free Wi-Fi and a terrace overlooking the garden. Breakfast is included, generous and delicious.
On request, we offer our table d'hôtes (starter, main course, cheeses, dessert, aperitif and drinks included). Free private parking. A really cosy little nest to recharge in the countryside.
What you'll love about the area
Our house is in Montaigüet-en-Forez, in the Allier, between the Bourbonnais and the Brionnais, an ideal stopover in the heart of a beautiful, unspoilt region. Within a 50 km radius, you'll discover Vichy, the famous spa town with its opera house, parks and springs, as well as Bourbon-Lancy, another charming spa resort.
Heritage lovers will enjoy Paray-le-Monial and its trail of the Romanesque churches of the Brionnais, Lapalisse and its Renaissance château, as well as Saint-Pourçain-sur-Besbre and its Le PAL wildlife park. Roanne and the Côte Roannaise, renowned for its food and wines, are also close by.
For nature lovers: hiking and cycling rides through rolling, idyllic countryside. As for food, don't miss the Saint-Pourçain AOC wines, the poultry, the goat's cheese and the Bourbonnais specialities.
A perfect location for combining spa breaks, Romanesque heritage, good food and relaxing in the countryside.
