I welcome you to La Maison de Banay, my guest house in the heart of Provence, in a friendly and warm atmosphere. I offer 3 bedrooms upstairs with a shared bathroom and separate shared WC (cleanliness guaranteed), as well as a self-contained dormitory with its own adjoining shower and toilet facilities, particularly popular with cyclists, sports enthusiasts and motorcyclists. You can enjoy my conservatory with its large bay window offering plenty of light and a view over my large garden, my dining room with television, my shaded terrace under the vine trellis and my garden furniture. Free Wi-Fi, free parking. A traditional breakfast is included, generous and varied, served from 7am to 10am.
What you'll love about the area
My house is located in Mazan, a charming village with the Pays d'Art et d'Histoire label, in the heart of Provence between Mont Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Luberon. You can enjoy an exceptional view of Mont Ventoux from my garden. A cycle path runs past the house for lovely bike rides. Carpentras is 8 km away, Orange 35 km and Avignon 40 km. Places to discover: Gordes, listed as one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, the Abbaye de Sénanque and its lavender fields, the lavender fields of Sault, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and its antique dealers, and the Ocres de Roussillon. Our region comes alive with numerous festivals in summer. The local pride remains the vine, with the Côtes du Ventoux wines, to be tasted at the Cave coopérative de Mazan and its nine private wine cellars. As for food: black truffle, olive oil, Cavaillon melon, goat's cheeses and Ventoux wines. A perfect location for combining cycling, heritage and the Provençal art of living.
