What you'll love about this property
I welcome you to La Fermette, my typical Picardy farmhouse in the green Vimeu, in a quiet, leafy setting 12 km from Abbeville. My house is especially designed to host a whole family or a group of friends thanks to my 3 flexible bedrooms: the Chambre Bleu (2 people), the Chambre Palière (1 person) and the Chambre Madras (2 people).
A shared bathroom is available to all guests. You can enjoy a small private sitting room with a dining area, Wi-Fi, TV and a hospitality tray. The house's great asset: my indoor pool, heated from 1 June to 31 October, to enjoy in my enclosed, tree-lined garden. I welcome pets free of charge (I have 2 very friendly dogs and 1 cat) as well as horses in a stable or pasture (2 to 3 max).

What you'll love about the area
My farmhouse is located in Huppy, right in the heart of the green Vimeu, in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France. You are just 12 km from Abbeville, the historic sub-prefecture of the Somme and gateway to the Baie de Somme, one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
Less than an hour's drive away: Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and its medieval marina, Le Crotoy and its estuary (an artists' village), the Réserve Naturelle de la Baie de Somme where you can watch harbour seals, and the Maison de la Baie de Somme at Cap Hornu. For heritage lovers: the Jardins de Valloires and their Cistercian abbey, and the UNESCO-listed Cathédrale d'Amiens.
The Chemin de fer de la Baie de Somme, cycle touring on the Véloroute de la Somme, and sand yachting on the Marquenterre beaches. As for food, don't miss the ficelle picarde, Amiens duck pâté, Rollot cheese, samphire from the bay and moules-frites. A perfect location to combine nature, heritage and Picardy local produce.
