What you'll love about this property
I welcome you to La Fenière, a lovingly renovated village house tucked away in the historic centre of Grignan, at the foot of the Château made famous by the letters of Madame de Sévigné.
Behind a stone archway, you step into a true haven of peace over 3 floors, where comfort and Provençal charm come together. I can welcome you in a choice of 2 quiet bedrooms: the Pink Room (23 m², 3rd floor, taking up the whole floor with 2 double beds, 160 and 140) and the Green Room (16 m², 2nd floor, 160 double bed).
Each room has quality bedding, a private bathroom and toilet, and is not overlooked, so you're sure of peaceful nights. You can also enjoy the inner courtyard, a small, quiet, leafy spot where I serve you breakfast.
Cot on request. Everything is here for a Provençal getaway in a lively and unique place.
What you'll love about the area
My house is in the heart of the medieval village of Grignan, in the Drôme Provençale, a stone's throw from the Château de Grignan, one of the most beautiful châteaux in the Drôme, made famous by the letters of the Marquise de Sévigné, who stayed there with her daughter.
The historic centre, with its shops, restaurants and craft boutiques, is right on your doorstep. In the surrounding area, you'll discover the riches of the Drôme Provençale: Nyons and its AOP olive oil, Vaison-la-Romaine and its ancient remains, Mont Ventoux, Suze-la-Rousse and its AOC vineyards, the Forêt de Saoû.
For lavender lovers: the Plateau de Valensole and the fields in bloom in July. For heritage enthusiasts: the hilltop villages of the Tricastin, the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Gorges de l'Ardèche.
For food and drink, there's the black truffle of the Tricastin, Grignan-les-Adhémar AOC wines, olive oil and goat's cheeses. A perfect location for combining heritage, nature and the Provençal way of life.
