Laurent welcomes you to this self-contained, spacious, air-conditioned gîte, set in the peace and quiet of the Languedoc countryside among vineyards and garrigue. The gîte's main highlight: direct access to the large swimming pool for carefree days relaxing in the Languedoc sunshine. The gîte sleeps up to 4 people, with one bedroom and additional sleeping arrangements. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can be completely independent during your stay. Air conditioning for comfort in the Mediterranean summer, free Wi-Fi and baby amenities on request. Outside, make the most of the barbecue for your summer grills and the peaceful setting of the estate. Free parking on site. Bed linen and towels available as an option when booking. An ideal gîte for families and friends looking for a pool, peace and quiet and places to discover between the Mediterranean Sea, Pézenas, the town of Molière, and the Languedoc hinterland.
What you'll love about the area
Caux is a charming wine-growing village in the Hérault, ideally located between the sea and the mountains in the heart of the Languedoc. Just nearby, Pézenas, the town of Molière, reveals its remarkable historic centre with its mansions, its artisans' and craft workshops, its cobbled lanes and its famous market. The Mediterranean beaches are about 25-30 minutes away: Le Cap d'Agde and its long sandy beaches, Vias, Valras-Plage and Sérignan for a variety of days at the seaside. The Étang de Thau and its oyster-farming villages are well worth a visit: Marseillan and its Noilly Prat cellars, Mèze and its oyster and mussel tastings overlooking the lagoon, Sète, the "Venice of the Languedoc", with its canals and its fishing port. Béziers, with its Saint-Nazaire cathedral overlooking the Orb, and the 9 Fonseranes locks on the UNESCO-listed Canal du Midi. Towards the hinterland, the Cirque de Mourèze, the Lac du Salagou, the Gorges de l'Hérault and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert offer spectacular landscapes.
