10 camping pitches (not rooms) I welcome you to my idyllic garden in Montholier in the Jura, for an authentic, eco-friendly experience of camping at a local's home. My pitches, varied between sun and shade, offer privacy and comfort for everyone: whether you're in a tent, van, caravan, motorhome or rooftop tent. Pitch your tent in the woods or near the vegetable garden, and for vehicles, my large meadow and a hard-standing area are ready to welcome you. A site committed to sustainability: eco-friendly washroom facilities made with recycled materials, solar showers and dry toilets. On offer: summer kitchen, covered terrace, dining area, pétanque court, table tennis table, Wi-Fi. Homemade pizza evenings from the wood-fired oven (15 €) with local ingredients. Pets welcome. Immerse yourself in a natural setting where birdsong and the scents of nature let you fully relax
What you'll love about the area
My site is in Montholier in the Jura, 1 km from Aumont and 10 km from Poligny and Arbois, the gastronomic capitals of the Jura. There you'll find all the shops, the Fruitières and their delicious cheeses, as well as the famous Jura winegrowers. To discover nearby: Les Planches-près-Arbois (the Tufs waterfall and cave), Baume-les-Messieurs (one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France), les Moidons (cave), the Malrochers de Besain (a lovely walk), Château-Chalon, famous for its vin jaune, and Bois sur Seille (the milk cable car). Enjoy magnificent walking trails and exceptional landscapes all around. Swimming is possible right on site in the river La Grozonne at the bottom of the garden, as well as at Villette-lès-Arbois (la Cuisance) and Belmont. Markets in Arbois, Poligny and Lons-le-Saunier. Pub in Poligny, restaurants in Aumont and Montholier (1 km away). A perfect location for combining nature, gastronomy and Jura heritage.
