Nestled in a peaceful, wooded spot on the Provençal hillside, on a 5000m plot in Saint-Maximin la Ste.Baume, Le Cabanon can sleep 5 people in 2 bedrooms; ideal for families or groups of friends looking for authenticity far from standardised tourism. Fitted kitchen with oven and washing machine for fully self-catering stays. Air conditioning for summer comfort and baby amenities on request for families. The gîte is fully fitted with mosquito screens on every opening for more pleasant summer nights and better ventilation of the accommodation. In the Var, in the heart of Provence Verte, Saint-Maximin with its hills, its vineyards and its Gothic Basilica. If you enjoy walks, or you're keen on hiking or climbing, the Massifs of Provence Verte will delight you, from the Sainte Baume, a major place of pilgrimage, to the Sainte Victoire so dear to Cézanne, by way of Mt Aurélien. If you appreciate heritage, then discover villages full of character such as Barjols and its fountains, or Correns, the first organic village, or Tourves and its Geules Rouges. There you'll find local producers proud of the quality of their products, which they'll be happy to let you taste, whether Wines, Olive Oil or Honey, not forgetting Goat's Cheese.
