Marinette & Christian welcome you to this home, which has kept all its old-world charm, ideal for holidays with family or friends. The gîte sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms with full amenities. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and washing machine. You have two courtyards at your disposal, one of which is fully enclosed so you can bring your pet along safely. Just one condition: please don't leave your pet alone in the house during your stay, for its comfort and out of respect for the property. Barbecue available for your meals outdoors. Free Wi-Fi, free parking on site, baby amenities on request. Bed linen provided with beds made on arrival, and towels included. Welcome gift. An ideal gîte for lovers of the Périgord.
What you'll love about the area
Nestled in peaceful surroundings. Our gîte is located very close to Périgueux, the historic capital of the Périgord, and makes it easy to explore the whole of the Dordogne. Périgueux, just a few minutes away, will win you over with its UNESCO-listed Saint-Front cathedral, its medieval and Renaissance old town, its museums and its food markets (truffles in winter). The Périgord is full of medieval villages and bastides to discover, such as St Léon /Vézère, St Jean de Côle (listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France), Brantôme (the Venice of the Périgord) and Sarlat (remarkable historic centre). Legendary castles such as Castelnaud, Beynac, Les Milandes (former home of Joséphine Baker), Hautefort, Bourdeilles etc. will immerse you in history. Not to mention all the caves (St Christophe, Tourtoirac, Cent mammouths etc.). For enthusiasts: hiking, kayaking, river swimming. Gastronomy: foie gras, porcini mushrooms, duck breast, Bergerac and Monbazillac wines, for an unforgettable stay
