I welcome you to Gîte La Petite Vermotte, my charming gîte set in the former stable of a Morvan farmhouse, on my 20-hectare estate in the heart of the Parc naturel régional du Morvan. My 45 m² gîte sleeps up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds, ideal for families. It has a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge), a bathroom and a terrace overlooking my beautiful flower garden. Free Wi-Fi, barbecue available. The estate is a true haven of peace with its forest, pond and garden, perfect for a restful stay surrounded by nature. You can set off on many walks straight from the estate. An ideal base for exploring the Grands Lacs du Morvan, the Burgundy countryside and the authentic Morvan terroir.
What you'll love about the area
My gîte is located in Alligny-en-Morvan, in the heart of the Grands Lacs du Morvan area, within the beautiful Parc naturel régional du Morvan. You are ideally placed to discover the 4 great lakes: the Lac des Settons nearby (swimming, sailing, paddleboarding, walks around the lake), the Lac de Pannecière, the Lac de Chaumeçon and the Lac du Crescent. For walking enthusiasts, the trails start straight from our estate. You can also discover Mont Beuvray and the oppidum of Bibracte, a former Celtic capital. 10 minutes away are Moux-en-Morvan, Blanot, Gouloux and their charming villages. Saulieu, the gastronomic capital of the Morvan, famous for its market and Michelin-starred restaurants, is 25 minutes away. For food lovers, don't miss the Morvan specialities: Morvan ham, cheeses, honeys, fir, and of course the Burgundy wines just nearby. A perfect location for combining nature, lakes, culture and Burgundy terroir
