I welcome you to Givry, in the heart of a wine-growing village on the Côte Chalonnaise, 8 km from Chalon-sur-Saône. The entire first floor is dedicated to my guests: two comfortable bedrooms, an adjoining private sitting room, and a family atmosphere. The house is lovingly decorated, as I am an artisan with a passion for all kinds of arts.
The flower garden lets you relax in the sun or in the shade while sipping herbal tea from the garden or a selection of teas.
In winter, the wood stove in the shared sitting room warms the atmosphere.

No shoes upstairs, so remember your slippers.
What you'll love about the area
Givry is a charming wine-growing village on the Côte Chalonnaise, surrounded by vineyards and walking trails. Within a 10-minute walk, many winegrowers open their cellars to you for tastings of Givry wines. The greenway passes 400 m from the house: a former railway line, now tarmacked, it takes you by bike or on foot to Chalon-sur-Saône (35 min) or Tournus.
The GR 7 trail crosses the Côte Chalonnaise 1 km away. For heritage lovers, Beaune and its Hospices are 26 km away, Cluny 40 km and Autun 54 km. The village has several restaurants 600 m away (pizzeria, tacos, bistronomy, traditional cuisine) and a weekly market. A treetop adventure course is nearby.
