We welcome you to a fully equipped, single-storey 35m² gîte for 2 people, at the entrance to Concarneau in South Finistère. Ideally located in a quiet neighbourhood, you will be close to many shops, restaurants and pizzerias and 1.5km from the town centre, the fishing port, the marina, the Ville Close and the beaches. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher, a bedroom with a double bed and a dining area with television. Shower room with walk-in shower and dressing room (hairdryer and wardrobe). Separate WC. Free Wi-Fi. Lean-to with plancha, barbecue, sun lounger and washer-dryer. Terrace with table, chairs and pergola overlooking the garden, and 1 private parking space Accessible by train via Quimper or Rosporden station, with a shuttle bus to the poteau vert stop. The ideal place for a restful stay as a couple in the countryside while being close to the sea and the beaches.
What you'll love about the area
Concarneau, nicknamed the Blue Town, is one of the gems of South Finistère in Brittany. The Ville Close, a fortified town built on a small island and reworked by Vauban, with its ramparts, cobbled lanes and old houses. The fishing port, the third largest in France, livens up the town centre with its fish market. Boats to the Glénan Islands leave for this archipelago of turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, nicknamed the Breton Caribbean. The diving school and the sailing centre are nearby for water sports. . The neo-Gothic Château de Keriolet, the fishing museum, the Marinarium and the GR34 coastal paths offer lovely visits and discoveries. The Concarneau thalassotherapy centre is 1 km away for a wellness break. Crêperies, seafood restaurants and Breton markets to savour the flavours of Cornouaille. Pont-Aven, the town of painters, is 10 km away, Quimper and its cathedral are 28 km away, and Locronan, a town of character, is 50km away.
