Charming gîte set in a property more than a hundred years old in Temploux, 8 km from Namur in the heart of Wallonia. The contemporary renovation has showcased an old bread oven and the adjoining building to create a 70 m² interior combining authenticity and modern comfort. A bright bedroom for two adults and a small bedroom that can sleep a third adult or 2 children. Teenagers must be counted as adults. The green setting invites you to relax: a private terrace and garden with a view over wooded surroundings. Garden furniture, a pétanque court and walks in the woods and surrounding countryside for moments of calm and recharging. The village offers a lovely architectural diversity. Barbecue, baby amenities, free enclosed parking, wifi, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Bed linen and towels provided. Nearby for cycle touring, the Ravels, Wallonia's network of slow ways, pass by.
What you'll love about the area
Namur, a beautiful town on the Meuse, is 8 km from the gîte. Its majestic citadel overlooking the confluence of the Sambre and the Meuse, its cable car, its old town and its rich cultural life make it a must-visit destination for a stroll. The towpaths along the Meuse offer superb walks or bike rides all the way to Dinant. The abbeys (Floreffe, Maredsous) invite you to discover Wallonia's religious heritage and their famous cheeses and beers. L. For families, the Euro Space Center in Redu, Walibi and the vast Pairi Daiza wildlife park promise wonderful days out. Located close to the main roads, the gîte gives easy access to Brussels, Liège, Mons and the Belgian Ardennes (Bastogne) or Charleroi airport, ideal for international guests. The surrounding Namur countryside offers idyllic walks or bike rides on the Ravels. The Ardennes forests round off a stay rich in nature, culture and Walloon gastronomy.
