WELCOME to my B&B! Hikers, Cyclists and Motorcyclists Welcome "Here, we love getting together, talking about everything, sharing, meeting people, and we love chance encounters…" Looking forward to meeting you! Lydie My house is ideally located in the very pretty village of La Gacilly, a must-see destination in the Morbihan! Everything is within walking distance! Free parking nearby. Opposite the river port, the Tourist Office and the Maison Yves Rocher. Four bedrooms, each with its own décor... On the 2nd floor, the Zen with a view of the river port and the Chemin du Bonheur with a view of the garden, each with a private shower room. On the 1st floor, the unusual Pierres de Schiste and the modern-style La Cour de l'Aff share a bathroom. Breakfast included (homemade and local produce). Bed linen and towels/shower gel and hospitality tray provided. Free Wi-Fi and a small desk in each bedroom. Peaceful garden, fully equipped summer kitchen / pergola, secure courtyard/garage.
What you'll love about the area
In the warmer months, from June to October, the International Photography Festival transforms the village into an open-air gallery with spectacular exhibitions on the façades, in the gardens and along the flower-filled lanes! The Craft Artisans and their shops, hiking, cycling, La Passerelle and its exhibitions, the botanical garden, the Artemisia cultural venue, the restaurants and bars, the Maison Yves Rocher, Photo Festival outings, … The Théâtre Equestre de Bretagne puts on horse-themed shows/cabarets. The Glénac marshes are perfect for nature walks. Water sports, the intercommunal swimming pool, the Ile aux Pies and its activities, events run by the Tourist Office and the many local associations… Nearby, the Brocéliande forest and its Arthurian legends make for a magical day of exploring. Rochefort-en-Terre, voted the French people's Favourite Village, is well worth a visit with its medieval lanes. 15 kms from Redon, 50 min from Vannes and Rennes, 1 h from Nantes
