Lorient and its harbour, the Interceltique festival in August and the Cité de la Voile Éric Tabarly are just a few minutes away. The Île de Groix, reachable by boat from Lorient, offers an island getaway with its convex beaches, unique in Europe.
Pont-Aven, the painters' town made famous by Gauguin, and Quimperlé with its medieval lanes are nearby.
