This authentic gîte for 4 to 5 people welcomes you in a quiet, traditional setting, very close to the most iconic villages and monuments in the region. The gîte has 2 comfortable bedrooms, a shower room with a shower and a separate WC, a fully equipped kitchen and a cosy living room with a library stocked with plenty of books for quiet evenings. A spacious dining area with a large table lets you share good times together. All linen is provided free of charge, including bed linen, bath towels and tea towels. Baby amenities available. Charging point on site for electric vehicles. A large covered terrace with a barbecue is available for you to enjoy summer evenings. Washing machine, wifi and free parking. What you'll love about the area
Nothalten is nestled in the heart of the Route des Vins d'Alsace, surrounded by vineyards and hills with views of the Vosges. This authentic village of traditional half-timbered houses is the ideal starting point for exploring the treasures of the region on foot, by bike or by car. Just a few minutes away, the villages of Barr, Andlau with its Romanesque abbey and Mittelbergheim, listed as one of the Plus Beaux Villages de France, offer a wealth of heritage. Obernai, Sélestat, Riquewhir, Kaysersberg, Colmar with its Petite Venise and Strasbourg are easily accessible for unforgettable days out. Mont St Odile, a major spiritual site in Alsace. The Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg overlooks the Alsace plain and offers a superb panorama. Hiking trails for all levels start nearby. In winter, the famous Alsatian Christmas markets transform every village into a fairy tale. Alsatian cuisine, choucroute, flammekueche, kougelhopf and Alsace wines are there to be discovered all year round.
