What you'll love about this property
Our home has been fully renovated. It has 2 bedrooms, the first with a 140/190 bed and a wardrobe with hanging space. The second also has a 140/190 bed, storage and a desk.
The fully equipped kitchen: oven, induction hob, dishwasher, toaster, blender, small chopper, kettle, capsule coffee machine, pressure cooker... It is very bright, south-facing, with a view of the church of Prades. The large living and dining room is also south-facing, so you'll be bathed in light.
Located right in the town centre, some noise may disturb you: the church bells, the market setting up on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, and in summer there are live music events opposite.
The bathroom has an 80/80 shower, a towel warmer, a washbasin and a storage column containing a hairdryer and a first aid kit. We have a cellar if you'd like to store your bikes or skis.
What you'll love about the area
Opposite the flat, the Saint-Pierre church houses one of the largest Baroque altarpieces in France. Every Tuesday morning, the Prades market, one of the largest in the department, offers local produce, food and crafts. Summer is punctuated by the Pablo Casals Festival, Ciné-Rencontres and the Catalan University.
Discover the UNESCO-listed ramparts of Villefranche-de-Conflent and its lively medieval town. Nature lovers will enjoy 6 nature reserves and many trails in the Catalan Pyrenees, not forgetting the Canigó, a Grand Site de France, ideal for hiking.
For heritage, visit the abbeys of Saint-Martin-du-Canigou and Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa, Romanesque gems. For leisure: Aquagliss in Vinça, canyoning, or relaxing at the hot baths of Saint-Thomas.
