What you'll love about this property
Live among the treetops: 20 metres above the ground, overlooking a cliff, in this wooden castle inspired by the Hôtel Dieu in Beaune. An unforgettable moment surrounded by greenery in a dreamlike world, in the heart of the beautiful Vallée de l'Ouche In Burgundy, along its canal, close to Dijon and Beaune. This brand-new gîte is the little masterpiece built by the owner, who is a Master Carpenter: you will feel the history of fine craftsmanship and the traditions of this trade. You will enjoy 2 enclosed bedrooms and a mezzanine bedroom overlooking the large living area (kitchen, lounge, dining room). A bathroom with a "double shower", separate WC, wine tree, large wraparound outdoor terrace (40m2), kiosk and other surprises! Le Gîte de l'Hôtel Dieu stands on a large private plot, not overlooked. The spa is an integral part of the rental. (Available from 7am to 10pm. Noise monitor)
What you'll love about the area
With its heritage, nature, gastronomy and great wines, Burgundy offers a rich stay in every season. La Bussière-sur-Ouche lies in the heart of the Vallée de l'Ouche, along the Burgundy Canal. An exceptional natural setting of forests, cliffs and river, ideal for hiking, cycling, fishing etc. In autumn, the bellowing of the stags echoes through the surrounding forests. The prestigious vineyards of the Côte-d'Or are never far away (cellar visits, tastings). Beaune and Dijon, with their historic centres, markets and gastronomy, are easily accessible. Châteauneuf-en-Auxois, a hilltop medieval village overlooking the Burgundy Canal, and the Château de Commarin offer lovely heritage visits. The lakes in the area offer swimming and water sports in summer. Arnaud and I live with our children in the same village of La Bussière. So we are available to welcome you and suggest ideas for outings, tailored to what you like to do!
