Le Tortillard, a fully renovated single-storey house in Noyelles-sur-Mer, on the doorstep of the Baie de Somme. A haven of peace in the countryside, with no neighbours, and the famous little steam train running past the bottom of the garden! The house sleeps up to 4 people in two comfortable bedrooms, with easy access for people with reduced mobility and a shower room with a walk-in shower. The living space includes a fitted kitchen, a lounge with a fireplace for cosy evenings, and a bright room with a sitting area and dining room. Washing machine, free Wi-Fi and baby amenities on request. Outside, the property is enclosed by an electric gate, with a carport and an electric vehicle charging point. Bikes are available so you can head off along the Baie de Somme cycle paths, and a boules court awaits you for games of pétanque! Barbecue for outdoor meals. Bed linen, towels, tea towels and hand towels provided. Roulotte caravan on site.
What you'll love about the area
Noyelles-sur-Mer is ideally located in the heart of the Baie de Somme, one of the most beautiful bays in the world, listed as a Grand Site de France. The historic little steam train runs past the bottom of the garden and its station is just 200 metres away on foot! Hop aboard for a retro journey between Le Crotoy, Noyelles, Saint-Valery-sur-Somme and Cayeux-sur-Mer. The cycle paths start nearby, so you can explore the bay safely by bike. Le Crotoy, a charming seaside resort beloved of Jules Verne and Colette, with its south-facing sandy beach, is very close by. Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, the medieval town from which William the Conqueror set sail for England, charms visitors with its flower-filled lanes. The Parc du Marquenterre, an internationally renowned bird sanctuary, lets you observe hundreds of species of migratory birds. The bay's seals can be spotted at low tide from the Pointe du Hourdel. Picardy cuisine with AOP salt-marsh lamb, samphire and bouchot mussels
